MICHELLE OBAMA’S SPEECH AT THE #DNCPHILLY — WATCH IT AGAIN NOW!

This is the beginning of yet another wild week in this thing we call democracy. As we move forward and closer to the November presidential election. Tonight was the kick-off of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Besides all of the disarray that almost dismantled the start of the Dem’s convention; this morning with Debbie Wasserman Schultz having stepped down as the Chair of the DNC Convention, due to erroneous emails leaked by Wiki Leaks (all signs point to Russian hackers).

The night was spent changing the negative narrative from the morning headlines, Trump tweets and Bernie or Busters — into a more eloquent, uplifting and positive celebration, catapulted into the national atmosphere by First Lady Michelle Obama. Who recited a moving and riveting speech that we can presume to be perfect timing. Her words will resonate with everyone who watched and listened in some way. It will definitely make an impact for the history books to come. Check out one of our favorite quotes from her speech and watch her speech for the first time or re-watch her again below.

“The story of generations of people that felt the lash of bondage, the shame of servitude, the sting of segregation but who kept on striving and hoping and doing what needed to be done, so that today I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves, and I watch my daughters, two beautiful intelligent, black young women, playing with their dogs on the White House lawn” -Michelle Obama
